Connecting Local Venues and Local Artists to the people…..what does this mean?
How many times have you found yourself searching for live music venues at the spur of the moment or looking for a specific music genre playing in your local area? That is what See The Bands is all about. A single place to look at the Venues in your area and find out what Artists are playing, what genre they play, get some info about the Artist, and even hear a few clips of their music to help you make the decision where to go.
See The Bands was founded by two passionate music enthusiasts. John (DJ Crimson) Lockett has been a DJ for over three years streaming music over the internet via Crim Radio and a musician in two rock bands. Shelli Grywusiewicz, singer musician, played the local Denver music scene singing in a heavy metal band for much of the 90’s. Based on the understanding of what it means for a new artist to get seen and heard, John and Shelli created the concept of See The Bands, a single place to help venues and artists reach the public.
Venues are busy with the day to day function of running and preparing for Artists, so See The Bands is here to help them with getting the public to know what is going on. Each Venue can post information about their facilities, and post events. See The Bands is able to store schedules, pictures, reviews, and take in comments from the public. This information can then be displayed to people interested in visting and prepare them for their visit.
Artists are a driven and dedicated group. Music is a passion and lifestyle, thus See The Bands can step up and help them by collecting information to be given to the public. Artists love what they do with such a passion, driving across the country to play for as many as will show. See The Bands will help them reach people they might not normally by allowing the collection and sharing of: Bio, Members, Pictures, Reviews, Song Clips, Fan Comments, as well as the schedule of events.
See The Bands has also partnered with Crim Radio, a public 24/7 internet radio station, dedicated to playing new and unsigned artists’.
